How does Offset Swim work?
Offset Swim is a made-to-order swimsuit brand. This is considered a “slow fashion” approach. each year fast fashion brands over produce clothing and materials, however, as trends change quickly, these left overs end up in our landfills. By having a slow fashion approach, it ensures there is no over production of suits or left over materials that would contribute to textile waste.
As each suit is handmade-to-order, once you submit an order I will begin working on it. Please allow 1-4 weeks for production time. You will receive a text/email when your suit is on its way or is ready for pick up. I know it can be difficult to wait for your order, but I ensure so will work my hardest and in the end, it is a sustainable process.
When will you restock?
if we are currently sold out, hang on because we will open orders again as soon as possible! Offset Swim is run by one person, there, in order to keep up with turn around times as well as ensure stock, Offset Swim will close orders if maximum quantity is reached. Updates on restock dates will be posted to social media.
What if there is damage to my suit?
Each suit is handmade. In the event of opening your new suit and damage is noticed, please contact Offset Swim immediately by email or direct message on Instagram. Offset Swim will replace or repair damage depending on our discretion. Please send a detailed description as well as photos if possible.
What if there is damage to my suit over time?
Offset Swim uses high quality materials that are designed to last. That being said, minor damage such as thread breaks or loose thread have the potential to occur overtime. Offset Swim will be happy to offer free repairs in these events, given it meets our requirements.
Damages not related to structural integrity or caused by external factors are not covered. However, please do not hesitate to inquire about small fee repairs. Please be sure to review proper care instructions for best care of your suit.
Do you offer returns?
Offset Swim does NOT offer returns. Each suit is handmade-to-order. We understand that once you get your suit home, different sizes may be needed. In these events we do offer exchanges. Please see “Returns/Exchanges” page for more information.
Do you offer custom pieces?
The simple answer is, no. Offset Swim is currently focusing on offering graded patterns sizes. This is because pattern making is very detailed and requires extended skills/knowledge. All patterns are purchased from a professional pattern developer. Therefore, Offset Swim does not offer “custom pieces”, however, please do not hesitate to contact us with questions/inquiries. Fees may be associated with adjustments.
Do you offer extended sizes?
Currently Offset Swim does not have extended sizes, however, are focused on expanding our sizes as soon as possible. Offset Swim does not make or develop our own patterns, therefore, extended sizes will be released once available for purchase by creator.
